Web Information Service System for Supporting Women’s Information

  • Asian Pacific Women's Information Network Center was established in November 1996
  • Objectives: to promote information-technologies for women and women-related communication technologies in South Korea, North Korea and the Asia-Pacific region.

  • Web-information service on women-related issues and Beijing+5 (putting the East Asian Alternative NGO Report online)
  • Providing training programs on ICT for women

ActiveBridge - Data Entry Form/Data Editing Form

· Data Entry Form available online and can be filled out by any women's organizations - name, address, phone #, fax #, profile, type, activities, url, contact person etc Data Editing Form available online so that organizations can update their data entry

- for sharing and exchange of women-related information - actively promoting the service to Korean women's groups, and other women's organizations in the Asia Pacific

· Expansion and refinement
