From 28th February through to 17th March WomenAction 2000 participated in the Beijing+5 activities at the 44th regular session of the CSW (Commission on the Status of Women), at the UN headquarters in New York. For the duration of the session, content came live to the site, direct from NGO CSW events:

The Daily Bulletin
WomenAction reported on the daily activities of the CSW session and produced daily updates of news and views on-line and on paper. The focus was UN meetings, parallel NGO sessions, a calendar of events, interviews, and examples of women using ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies) to network and influence policy makes.

Global Knowledge
From 6th to 10th March, WomenAction provided a linkage to the Global Knowledge Conference in Malaysia.
